Reviving Men’s Fellowship: Building a Stronger Community
At St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, there is a growing recognition of the need for a men’s group to address the unique challenges faced by men in society and the Church. Past attempts to establish a Catholic Men’s Association have not succeeded, but Holy Cross Family Ministries is renewing efforts to revive this important aspect of church life. In collaboration with V. Rev. Fr. Dominic Yaw Assuahene, the Vicar General of Techiman Diocese, we are exploring the vital roles men play today. His insights have been instrumental in reshaping our approach and reaffirming our commitment to championing men’s causes within the Church. This initiative aims to create a supportive community for men, empowering them to take active roles in their families and parishes. By fostering an environment where men can share their experiences and challenges, we hope to build a strong brotherhood that reflects our faith’s teachings. Holy Cross Family Ministries is dedicated to promoting family spiritual well-being, and this new men’s group aligns perfectly with our mission. We invite all men in the parish and beyond to join us in this endeavor, creating a vibrant community that uplifts one another and deepens our understanding of our roles as men of faith. Together, we can work towards building a more unified Church community.
